Scribo AI Inc. ("Scribo," "we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting the privacy and security of personal information and personal health information processed through the Scribo service.

We collect information necessary to provide AI-assisted clinical documentation services, including:

• Account and authentication information
• Usage and technical information
• Clinical content provided during patient encounters

How We Use Information

Information is processed solely to deliver and operate the Service. Scribo does not use information for advertising, profiling, or purposes unrelated to providing the Service.

Data Storage & Retention

Clinical transcripts and related data are:

• Stored securely using Microsoft Azure infrastructure in Canada
• Retained for a limited duration (typically no longer than 24 hours)
• Automatically deleted in accordance with Scribo's retention practices

No AI Model Training

User and patient data is never used to train, fine-tune, or improve artificial intelligence or machine learning models operated by Scribo or any third party.

Security Safeguards

Scribo applies industry-standard security safeguards, including:

• Encryption in transit and at rest
• Authenticated access controls
• Restricted internal access
• Minimal data retention

Cross-Border Processing

Certain processing activities, including AI-based processing using Microsoft Azure services, may occur outside of Canada, including in the United States.

All such processing is subject to safeguards that are equal to or higher than Canadian healthcare data protection standards, including PIPEDA and applicable provincial health privacy laws. Scribo AI Inc. remains accountable for all data handling.
